So your choice of Celebrant is one of the most significant decisions you can make with regard to your wedding plans. It is the Celebrant who actually marries you to each other, and who starts you out on your journey as a married couple.

Much attention needs to be given to your marriage ceremony….you may want a contemporary one, or more traditional; simple and relaxed or detailed and eventful. Every couple has their own special uniqueness and every couple wants the day to be perfect, without any unwanted surprises marring what must be one of the best days of your life.

So as your Celebrant it is my role to help and guide you from our first meeting, putting details in place and preparing to create the perfect ceremony for your special day.  It is my desire to put you at ease and encourage you to place your trust in me so you can both relax and enjoy your marriage ceremony.

As I choose to only perform one wedding ceremony per day, you will have my full commitment and attention on your wedding day.

Performing as a Marriage Celebrant is a passion rather than a job. Living in beautiful Central Otago and doing something I love is a dream.  What better role than working with people in love!

With a varied and interesting background I have worked with people from all walks of life.   Formerly a Hairdresser, International Flight Attendant, Café owner, Administrator and Barista Tutor, no challenge is too great.  My desire to become a Celebrant has risen from attending many ceremonies and realising that with my own passion and professionalism I could really make a difference to a couple’s special day.

Married to Kim, our son Inia was just 3 years old when we planned our wedding.  It was a Celebrant who helped us create a very meaningful wedding ceremony, one I will remember forever. And that’s how I want my clients to feel too.

Being open minded, warm and approachable, I will work with you to create the ceremony you desire. Whether you want a traditional ceremony or one  with a difference, I will help you tailor the day to your personal wishes and make your vision reality. My goal is to guide and advise you to ensure your plans are put together with care, ease and efficiency, creating wonderful memories for your life together.

I believe marriage is the most ultimate commitment two people can make to each other.  A wedding ceremony is the occasion to publicly declare your love, promises and dreams to your chosen partner. As a Celebrant it is a special privilege to be such an important part of creating one of the happiest days of your life. It is my commitment to ensure it is.

• Provision of the legal form “Notice of Intended Marriage”

• A professional PA system with discreet wireless microphone and free standing microphone

• Travel within Central Otago, including Cromwell, Queenstown, Wanaka, and Alexandra, for the rehersal and the ceremony.

• Private home

• Private or public gardens

• River valley or mountain top

• Lakeside or seaside

Just remember if you choose an outdoor location, you may need Council approval and you will also need an alternative indoor option as contingency for inclement weather

Also, keep in mind the environment and potential conditions such as sunshine and a need for sunscreen, even mosquito spray!  So the time of day for your ceremony may be affected by many factors.  I will ensure these are considered.
